Amy Winehouse's Father To Launch Acting Career
Amy Winehouse's father, Mitch, is to launch his acting career in a new British film near the music industry, it's been reported.
Mr Winehouse is said to have jumped at the chance to be in the photographic film, which tells the news report of a one-hit wonder in the 1980s.
�Mitch has become well-nigh as recognizable as Amy. He�s always on hand when his daughter gets into scrapes,� an insider said.
�He comes across very well when he appears on TV to defend his daughter and the film�s producers like his charm.�
According to the Sun paper, Mr Winehouse will wager a taxi driver � his real life profession � in the moving picture, which is currently in pre-production.
The reports come two days later on it was claimed Winehouse had been filmed plain snorting cocaine in a pub in North London.

Washington, D.C., bandleader, acting artist, and songster Chuck Brown has been a large shape on the city's go-go shot since the late '70s. Brown & the Soul Searchers stimulate too been apotheosis of the uncommon go-go acts to advance national tending, even though it was transient. But the followup, "Secret plan Seven," flopped, and they were shortly back on the go-go circuit. They had one more than flirtation with the public eye in 1984, as the single "We Need Some Money (Bout Money)" reached number 26 amid predictions that go-go was ready to explode into the mainstream. It didn't happen, but Brown remained dynamic. He tried once over again in 1991 with '90s Goin' Hard for Goff. A documentary on the Washington, D.C., go-go aspect appeared in 2002 and conspicuously featured Brown and his music.

Kate Middleton Offered Modeling Job
Prince William's girlfriend Kate Middleton could soon be embarking on a career as a fashion model -- after she was approached by a modeling scout at Nelson Mandela's 90th gig in London last Friday.
"This chap was wandering past with a couple of young, blond catwalk-model types," a source tells Britain's Daily Express newspaper.
"He suddenly stopped when he saw Kate and told her he ran his own modeling agency and that she had fantastic cheekbones and a great figure.
"She smiled and said thanks and he slipped her his card.
"I know the Queen wants Kate to get a job so perhaps model ling is the perfect career for her."
Kate, however, is said to have declined the offer.
